BETA TESTING INSTRUCTIONS

Please note this is a test of the site. There are no costs and no real winners of the auctions during the test.

4. Use this link to enter the test site: ParadisePennyAuction
   
5. Register: enter name, address, e-mail, username (your screen name), password and click “Accept Rules,” then click copy Billing Info.
6. To buy bids click on “Buy Bids” choose a Bid Box of your choice and this will take you to the check out. This will show the billing info you entered and that payment is by “check” do not change, this is for testing only, we do not accept checks, no more information is required, just click “Buy Now” at the bottom and you are done.
7. Return to the Auction or Home page and you are ready to go.
8. Pick one or more auctions you want to play, click on the bid button and you are started.
9. Whoever places the highest bid will win the auction, this is TEST mode only, there are no live auctions.
10. Explore the site, try all the buttons, see the Charities we support at the bottom.
11. Click on the picture of the gift card in the auction box and it will take you to a description of what is up for auction and a history of up to the last 10 bids.

Very Simple Explanation of How a Penny Auction Works

Many explanations of how a penny auction works can seem convoluted or confusing. Here is a very simple breakdown of how they will work of www.paradisepennyauction.com.

There are two main components: 1) purchasing bids and 2) bidding on and winning auctions.

Bids are purchased for $0.75 each in blocks of 25, 50, 75, 100, etc.

Once the bids are purchased they can be used on auctions. Placing a bid on an auction increases the price of the item by $0.01 and adds 5 - 15 seconds to the auction timer if the auction is in the last 10 seconds. The last bidder wins!

The winning bidder then pays for the ending auction price for the item plus shipping.

MISSION STATEMENT

Paradise Penny Auction is planned to be a fast paced web based business built on moral standards, with the ability to shift rapidly to meet market demands.

The business will build a reputation for integrity by providing quality products at reasonable prices based on market demand. Delivering these products in a timely manner to meet the customer’s needs. Philosophically customer satisfaction is our number one priority. With a satisfied customer base the business will have the potential for rapid controlled growth that will allow the company to provide new and improved products.

While the business is obviously a “For Profit” business it will not lose sight of the community. During each operational day the business will conduct at least one charitable auction. A charitable auction is defined to be one where the business will initiate a set dollar sum, donation to a specified charity. This money will be increased by the purchase price of the charitable auction. This money will be donated to a major charity. The company will sponsor seven charities on a rotating basis.
